In Japan

The purchasing department of Best Buy Jap Imports based in Japan, scours Japanese dealer networks nationwide for quality hand picked vehicles.

These vehicles are assessed for suitability for the Australian market and then shipped to Australia.

Before leaving Japan these vehicles are de-registered from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Tourism - Transport Department.

We are then given the de-registration paperwork for the vehicle ready for export. We prove the de-registration paperwork to our customers to prove genuine odometer history of the vehicle.

In Australia

ars are processed through customs, then are forwarded to a RAWS (Registered Automotive Workshop Scheme) compliance centre, who comply and engineer the vehicle according to Australian standards. Once this process is complete the vehicle is approved for compliance in Australia and ready to be registered. The process does not allow for damaged cars to be registered or fitted with a used import plate.
